Happy Summer Solstice !

by COSS Blog Contributor Tamara Sophia

Solstices occur June 20 - 2 2nd and Dec 20th -22nd and they mark the longest and shortest days of the year.

This year, in the northern hemisphere the Summer Solstice is on June 21, occurring in the early hours of the morning, to late morning depending on your time zone.

During the Solstice, the Sun appears to stand still & then reverse direction.

The June Solstice marks the beginning of Summer, a time of pruning what we planted and re-evaluating projects that we began at the time of the Spring Equinox around March 20th.
