7:30 - 9:30
This workshop is a great introduction to the auras. You will learn how to develop your natural ability to see both your aura and the aura of others.
What is an Aura?
The Aura is the name given to the multi-layered electromagnetic energy field that surrounds your physical body. It
can be described as a luminous body that surrounds the physical body, taking on a cocoon like shape. Each and every object, living or inanimate has an aura.
The Aura varies from person to person and from different times of the day, to different days completely. Auras constantly change colour and shape, depending on how the person is feeling and where they are emotionally and spiritually. The aura usually extends out from the body 30-40cm for an average person, and can be much larger for a more highly developed spiritual person.
Every thought, feeling and experience we have affects the vibration of this energy field.
Is It Hard to See and Read Auras?
The most important thing you have to know is that you do not need to be a psychic to see auras. While some psychics specialize in seeing and decoding auras, it’s a skill that anyone can learn, even if you don’t have any other psychic gifts or abilities.
Some people are naturally able to see auras but they are the lucky ones. For most people, it has to be learned. Like any new learned skill, it takes time and commitment but it is relatively easy. And like any other skill, the more you practice, the better you will get. Most people start by learning how to see their own aura. At first, you may only see the lower layers but if you stick with it, you will be able to see the higher levels too.
With training, an aura can be observed by the naked eye. More often, however, the aura is sensed by those that possess psychic abilities. You can learn to sense the aura of others as well as your own.
Why Learn to Read Auras?
While the aura can actually be *seen* by certain people, it can be *felt* by everyone. The energy you give off and that is in your aura can be contagious, which is why you start to feel extra happy if you’re around someone who’s a positive, optimistic person and why you feel super drained when you’re around someone who’s a total bummer. Bleh.
If you are experiencing a drastic mood change due to your horrible boss or even more horrible partner, your aura will likely reflect that. And other things like physical and emotional trauma or illnesses can also change your aura.
While there are different layers and colors to each person’s aura that all mean different things, every person often has one predominant aura color. Your aura can change, though, depending on your state of mind but it normally returns to its original color once you are balanced again.
During todays workshop you will learn:
- the meanings of different colours that surround us and in turn, how to read auras.
- where these colours originate,
- what it means when the colours are "pale", "muddy", "vibrant", "contracted" etc.
- the common symbols that are seen in the Aura,
- the different ways to see and sense the Aura,
- the things that can enhance or deplete the Aura.
At the end of the workshop, there will be a question and answer period.
Rev. Sheila will give attendees that she is drawn to a short personal Aura Reading.
Please note: NOT everyone will receive a Aura Reading.
